Odonata Farm – Update for the week of 11/15/2019

Farm stand will be OPEN on Saturday November 23 from 10-2 just in time for Thanksgiving!

It has been a little while since I have sent out an update. When not working on my off-farm job as a wildlife biologist, I have been busy fermenting, canning, dehydrating and otherwise storing away the bounty of the summer.

While fall is well underway, we still have quite a bit of bounty to share, and if you are looking for items for your Thanksgiving feast, or just fresh local veggies, look no further!

We will be set up at the farm on Saturday (rather than Sunday as was the case over the summer) and will have a selection of produce including (and there may be more):

  • Winter squash – several varieties
  • Potatoes
  • Shallots
  • Leeks
  • Garlic
  • Fennel
  • Salad Greens
  • Salad Turnips
  • Radishes
  • Beets
  • Spinach
  • Komatsuna
  • Bok Choy
  • Rosemary

A few items will have more limited availability, and will be available first come first serve

We would love to see you, so please stop by and say hello and grab some fresh veggies. Thanks for supporting fresh local food!
